Your Role

As an intern for a period of 6 months or more, starting ideally this summer or earlier. You will work closely with your mentor and other employees of the Hardware/Software team who will help you apply your knowledge and grow your skills.
Specifically, you will:
  • Develop the Aircraft charging algorithm.
    • Develop the algorithm (Matlab simulink) with error handling and fault recovery mechanisms
    • Develop Test Cases
    • Write the associated documentation
  • Integrate and test (Hardware in the Loop)
    • Integrate the software into the Battery Management System.
    • Execute Test Cases (normal and abnormal behavior) with various commercial CCS Chargers
    • Write the associated documentation

Your Profile
  • Ongoing Bachelor or Master's student in industrial or embedded computer engineering
  • Notion or interest for:
    • High Power, High Voltage Battery
    • CCS (Combined Charging System) protocols and standard for electric vehicles
    • CAN bus, Ethernet, RS485
  • Ability to understand and debug embedded hardware and to troubleshoot electrical issue
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for charging infrastructure and communication buses
  • Previous experiences with Matlab Simulink and Simulink Test
  • Good knowledge of Python
  • Ability to develop and debug embedded software in C
  • Fast learner, rigorous, hands-on problem-solving, ability to document properly
  • Fluency in English (oral and written), French is a plus.
