Having integrated and flown 4 electric airplanes, the Swiss start-up has been selected by Pratt & Whitney Canada to provide the battery pack for its regional hybrid-electric flight demonstrator. Your Role

The Sales Manager – North America is responsible for overseeing our sales initiatives and strategy for BRM aircraft -- a 2-seater fully electric pilot trainer in the North America region, secondarily may sell H55 propulsion systems to aircraft manufacturers, supporting the Company’s overall business development strategy. The Sales Manager will manage key relationships with customers and prospective customers including but not limited to OEM, flight schools, aeroclubs, professional aviation training centers, the military and aviation enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the Business Development teams, develop, implement, and communicate the Company’s sales strategy, goals and progress in the defined region.
  • Lead generation and sales responsibilities for aircraft and systems.
  • Increase the Company’s territory coverage and network, engage, and participate with industry organizations, particularly flight schools.
  • Provide overall market analysis and customer prospects, analyzing technical and business needs of customers.
  • Responsible for developing, managing and growing the aircraft and system sales pipeline.
  • Responsible for leading request for proposals, pricing strategy and structuring offers.
  • Provide deep functional expertise in the industry and marketplace with knowledge of ongoing market trends and opportunities

Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the aerospace industry is mandatory with small or large aircraft
  • Experience in new product introduction particularly in electrification, in mobility related or related industries
  • A proven track record of developing a sales/commercial execution and delivering on sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree required; Masters/MBA degree in an engineering or technical field preferred
  • Ability to work with fast commercially growing small technology companies where product and technology offerings still need to be proven and illustrated on a mass scale within the industry
  • Licensed pilot is a strong plus and will be looked upon favorably
  • Background working with and for flight schools is a plus.
